All lesson guides, game instructions, lesson logs etc are currently housed on Google Drive as they are being updated regularly. When major updates are made the footer at the bottom will be updated with the date that changes were made.
This document provides instructions explaining how to play all of the games in Level 1. If anything is unclear please let me know so that I can make the directions better. Pictures will be added to this document over time.
This document provides a basic outline for Level 1 Lessons (Level 2 Lessons are included but are incomplete). As a general rule, students should master the concepts and skills during the lesson and then play the games at home to develop speed and automaticity. If students have not mastered the concepts or skills taught then they should repeat the game at the next lesson. Assessment is ongoing through the games.
Teachers can use this log to plan what games they will play at each lesson (put a check mark with a pencil for the games that you plan to play). After the lesson they can mark the games that they actually played with a pen (as you assess students' learning and mastery your plan may change mid lesson). The table includes room to keep track of Level 1 & 2 games for 14 weeks. The Level 2 section includes the log for the Level 2 repertoire.
This document is part of the Level 1 & 2 Lesson Log above, but is provided separately as well. There are directions explaining how to provide support to students learning the repertoire as well as a recommended order for teaching the Brief Stichera Verses.
